B-Corp
We are very proud to be part of the BCorp community and this movement. We strive every day to keep moving towards a more sustainable business model, working in an efficient, inclusive and responsible manner.
In 2022 we received the B Corp certification and became the first company in the sector in Europe to receive this accreditation. At Motocard we meet high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency and corporate responsibility.
The B Corps leads a global movement of people who are transforming the global economy to benefit all people and the planet.
What is BLab and BCorp?
B Corp certification is an American initiative launched by B Lab, a non-profit organization founded in 2006.
The B Corp standard measures management performance across the enterprise and covers five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers It is granted by B Lab to leading companies in their social and environmental commitment after passing a rigorous evaluation process through which companies must provide evidence of their good practices and incorporate their legal commitment to the social purpose in their bylaws.
B companies are committed to a long-term continuous improvement process: every three years they must re-certify and meet increasingly ambitious standards.
How are companies certified as B Corps?
The BCorp companies maintain:
That we must be the change we want to see in the world.
That we should be guided by the importance of people and the planet.
That we must aspire not only to do no harm, but above all to generate a social and environmental benefit.
That we are responsible for ourselves, for others and for future generations.
That we use the strength of the company to leave a positive impact.
That we use the power of business to solve today's most pressing social and environmental challenges.
