History of Acerbis
It all began in 1973 when Franco Acerbis, a great motorcycle enthusiast, traveled to the United States where he met Preston Petty, one of the first manufacturers of plastic parts for off-road motorcycles, and decided to start distributing the Preston brand throughout Europe.
In 1975, Franco Acerbis founded the brand Acerbis Plastica Italia as a replacement parts brand for motorcycles, developing the first larger fuel tanks which proved to offer great impact resistance. Years later, he developed the first chest protector that folds onto itself and a closed handguard made entirely of plastic, among other products that were crucial to the brand's success.
In 1995, he created the first off-road clothing line consisting of a jacket, jersey, and pants, and it wasn't until 2000 that the brand developed its first helmet and off-road boots.
Acerbis has been expanding and broadening its product lines to cover more disciplines such as sports, with its technical sportswear line created in 2005, its Dual-Road product range launched in 2011, and its entry into the cycling world with the creation of MTB gear in 2020. Today, Acerbis is recognized as one of the leading brands for motorcycle replacement parts, as well as offering several lines for off-road, MTB, and sports equipment.

Vohland is a motocross and supercross rider who began his professional career in 1989 and has participated in championships such as the AMA Pro Motocross 125MX Championship, where he earned a bronze medal twice and 16 podiums, and the Monster Energy AMA Supercross 125WSX and 125ESX Championships, where he finished fourth.
